Day 1
03:55 -Arrival in Tbilisi airport;

Day 2
Breakfast in the Hotel;
After breakfast drive to Mtskheta. We visit the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia – Mtskheta
(3000 years old) and see its historical places: Jvari church (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th
century) where the Robe of Christ is buried. Both Jvari and Svetitskhoveli are UNESCO World Heritage
sites;
Lunch in Mtsketa;
After Mtskheta drive back to Tbilisi. Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia. The city covers
an area of 372 km² (144 square miles) and has 1,093,000 inhabitants. Founded in the 5th century AD by
Vakhtang Gorgasali, the Georgian King of Kartli (Iberia) and made into a capital in the 6th century, Tbilisi
is a significant industrial, social, and cultural center. In Tbilisi we will visit Metechi Church of Holy Virgin
– built in 5th c and rebuilt in 13th c; visit old city with bath district and Narikala castle. Walk wonderful
Shardeni Street with cafes and restaurants. Afterwards visit Sioni and Anchiskhati Churches and Sameba –
Holy Trinity Cathedral, called as "Millennium Building". Sameba is the greatest Orthodox Cathedral in
Georgia and Caucasus. It represents the synthesis of cross–domed and central-domed churches. Drive to
Open Air Ethnographic Museum, passing through famous Rustaveli Avenue;

Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 3
Breakfast in the Hotel;
After breakfast drive to Kazbegi. On the way visit Ananuri Castle and Jinvali water reservoir. Afterwards
drive to Gergeti trinity church. To rich the church we can trek, that takes 1.5 hour one way or take jeeps and
drive the Trinity Church. Lunch in Kazbegi
Transfer to Tbilisi

Day 4
After breakfast drive to the east Georgia.
We have to visit Signagi-City of love (110 km. 1.50 hour drive). Visit Bodbe monastery. St. Nino has
become one of the most venerated saints of the Georgian Orthodox Church. A Grapevine cross, is a
symbol of Georgian Christianity. After we’ll visit Tsinandali wine cellar and Al. Chavchavadze
Museum. Transfer to Telavi (60km. 1.15 hours).Dinner in Telavi restaurant , with the traditions of
Georgian bread baking and Churchkela making, where we can taste 3 different sorts of wine.
After drive to Tbilisi

Day 5
Breakfast in the hotel;
After breakfast drive to Borjomi, you will visit Borjomi national park, you will try famous Borjomi waters
over there.
After trip to Samtskhe-Javakheti region with a tour of the newly renovated fortress town and pride of the
region, Rabat in Akhaltsikhe. Rabat is a big city in the city. In the complex rather than historical
fortresses, towers, churches and mosques cells, also exist modern institutions of different types: a
restaurant, coffee shop, wine shop, souvenirs, museum, wedding hall.

Day 6
Breakfast in the hotel;
After breakfast transfer to Vardzia – a cave monastery site in southern Georgia, carved into the volcanic
rocks on 13 levels, linked inside by internal corridors, secrete tunnels, painted chapels a large church with
an external bell tower. The main period of construction was the second half of the twelfth century.
Transfer to Kutaisi

Day 7
Breakfast in the Hotel;
Kutaisi is the second largest city of Georgia, founded about 40 centuries ago, former capital of the west
Georgian Kingdom Colchis, to which is related the myth of Golden Fleece and Argonauts. In Kutaisi we
will visit Bagrati Temple (11th c. UNESCO heritage), Gelati Monastery (12th c. UNESCO heritage). After
we will go to Sataplia cave. It is a very interesting place for visitors. The specialists think that in this view
Sataplia is one of the richest places in the world. Sataplia and the traces of Dinosaurs were discovered by
Kutaisi environmentalist P.Chabukiani, who detected there the settlement of the primitive man, together
with the footprints of a Dinosaur. The air and the water temporaries in the Sataplia karst cave nearly equal
(12-13 c);

Day 8
Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast drive to Batumi. Upon arrival we have time at leisure to relax the
beach and enjoy the boulevard. Visit Piazza Square, one of the most beautiful squares in whole Georgia,
distinguished by its painting, as well as by its exquisite mosaics and stained glass windows. Piazza Square
has already become the venue of numerous entertaining and cultural events. Afterwards we reach the
Europa square with the beautiful statue of Medea. Visiting Botanical Garden of Batumi will be another
experience of the trip. Found in 1912, this garden contains more than 5000 kind of plants from all over the
world. Gonio Fortress (1st century AD) was once a large Roman-Byzantine military settlement and an
important strategic point along the Black Sea coast. It was occupied intermittently by Romans, Byzantines
and Ottomans. More importantly it is connected with the myth of the Argonauts and the Golden Fleece.
